Fish with Jason and Mandie Adams, both active kayak anglers with deep knowledge of Northwest Arkansas waters. We don’t guess. We fish proven patterns, adjust to conditions, and help you stay on productive water.
All Gear Provided
Show up ready to fish. We provide fully rigged Hobie kayaks, rods, reels, tackle, and safety gear. Everything is selected for the waters you’ll fish so you can focus on catching bass.
Safe & Fun for Everyone
Our trips are built for all skill levels. Stable kayaks, clear instruction, and a relaxed pace make it easy to learn and enjoy the day. Whether it’s your first time or you fish often, you’ll feel comfortable on the water.
Sugar Creek Outfitters is built around a simple idea: give you a better way to fish the Ozarks.
Jason Adams leads the fishing side. He’s a tournament-level kayak bass angler with over 20 years on the water. He knows how bass set up across Northwest Arkansas through the seasons and focuses on efficient, results-driven trips. You won’t spend the day guessing. You’ll fish the right water with a clear plan.
Mandie Adams brings a different edge to the experience. She’s an avid kayak angler and the owner of Moments By Mandie, a professional photography business. While you’re on the water, she captures high-quality images of your trip and your catch so you leave with more than a memory.
Together, we run small, focused trips designed for two anglers at a time. That keeps the experience personal and allows us to stay locked in on helping you catch fish and improve your approach.
You’ll fish from stable, fully rigged kayaks on some of the best water in the Ozarks, targeting both smallmouth and largemouth bass. Every trip includes the gear you need, local knowledge, and a setup that works for both beginners and experienced anglers.
If you’re looking for a different kind of fishing trip, Sugar Creek Outfitters puts you on the water, on fish, and sends you home with photos that actually do it justice.

“We had a great time and much success with Jason. He was a great teacher for my son and a pro with equipment and technique”
Justin Crumpton – Locust Grove, GA
“I have never been kayak fishing before, so this was my first experience:
Pros: top of the line materials (kayak, rods, etc.); educational (Jason took the time to explain the layout of the lake, best way to cast/reel, how to interpret fish finder electronics, etc.); snacks/drinks provided; very laid back and relaxed; cost efficient; personality and attention of guide (Jason)
Cons: Hmmmm, this may take a while…..Can’t’ really think of one.
HIGHLY recommend Jason and this trip”
Trent Brock – Rogers, AR

Jaime Yado – Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
“It was awsome, we took our 13 year old for his birthday and he loved it. If you love Bass fishing Jason is your man. It was my sons first time fishing on a kayak. Jason made the experience easy and fun and memorable, so much so that now my son want me to go buy us some kayaks for ourselves. 5-Stars for sure, definitely worth it.”
